County Connection Coach 9600Welcome! 

County Connection is a service of the Central Contra Costa Transit Authority (CCCTA) and provides fixed-route and paratransit service within central Contra Costa County.  The County Connection serves Clayton, Concord, Danville, Lafayette, Martinez, Moraga, Orinda, Pleasant Hill, San Ramon, Walnut Creek, and unincorporated areas of central county.

Formed in 1980, the County Connection has grown from a fleet of 12 small buses to 131 buses in the fixed-route fleet and they are fully equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts.  With easy connections to San Francisco and the world via BART, County Connection can get you there.

Bus Route Changes Effective 14 August 2005

Our Mission Statement

The Central Contra Costa Transit Authority is committed to provide transportation services within the constraints of our suburban and financial environment.  The Authority will also aggressively promote the expanded use of transit through creative implementation of programs and services to the communities we serve in order to improve air quality, reduce traffic congestion and energy consumption.
